A bi-weekly, joy-forward creative gathering for women

Messy Joy Club is a space to unleash your creativity in joyful community with other women who are actively unlearning the perfectionism that’s been holding them back.

This is not about being “good” at art.
It’s about being human, playful, brave, and connected.

What to Expect Each Gathering

The first hour is a guided, facilitated experience led by a licensed psychotherapist and creative arts therapist. Together, we explore:

Gentle movement and therapeutic improv to get out of our heads and into our bodies
Collaborative, messy art-making that invites imperfection, risk-taking, and play
Laughter, connection, and creativity as a pathway back to joy

No experience required. No pressure to perform. You’re always welcome to pass or participate in ways that feel right for you.

The second hour is optional open time, where you’re welcome to:

• continue creating on your own
• collaborate with others
• work on personal projects
• connect and socialize
• or simply rest and enjoy the space

The Fun Doesn’t End!

We stay connected between gatherings through our group chat and real-life hangouts—like spontaneous creative field trips and nights of karaoke chaos. The magic doesn’t end when the meet does.

We Cultivate Real Friendships

This is a space for us to show up as our full selves, and to see one another from a place of love. We’re here to make art, yes, but ultimately, this is a space to support, celebrate, and uplift one another in reclaiming our inner spark of joy. If you’re looking for a competition, this is not where you’ll find it.

Keeping the lights on– We’re fortunate to have a beautifully warm space to create in, but it does cost money to upkeep.
