Geek out with the coolest comedians (who were all probably bullied at school). Embrace your geekside and unleash your inner nerd. Delight in the dorkiest of dweebs and the funniest fanatics around. Join your host and uber-nerd Juliette Burton, whose fandoms include comic books and video games, with her geekiest friends for a fun-filled fanatical comedy night where you the audience compete against the comedians to find the biggest nerd of the night who not only wins prizes but is crowned The Greatest of Geeks!

JULIETTE BURTON
Juliette Burton is an award-winning (Argus Angel award Brighton Fringe, Voice Mag Pick of Edfringe) comedian, voiceover and writer. She’s had 5 total sold out seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe, shortlisted for Best New Show at Brighton Fringe 2025, named Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Edinburgh Fringe 2023 and 2024, shortlisted for The Disability Power 100 (UK) in 2024 and had sold out shows at audience and critical acclaim at Edinburgh Fringe for the last 10 years. She has performed solo comedy worldwide including at Leicester Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and New Zealand International Comedy Festival. In 2015 Juliette won the Argus Angel Award at Brighton Fringe for Look At Me and Voice Magazine Pick of the Fringe 2017. Juliette’s TV and radio credits include being a regular guest on BBC’s Access All podcast, Drunk Women Solving Crime podcast (October 2025), The One Show (BBC1), This Morning (ITV), Skin Deep and Feeling Kind of Funny (both BBC Scotland), BBC At Edinburgh Festivals (BBC iPlayer), BBC Tomorrow’s World and Afternoon Edition (BBC Radio 5 Live). Juliette has written for UK newspapers, news websites and magazines including The Metro, The Independent, i Newspaper, Cosmopolitan and BBC News. She is an ambassador for UK mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness, and supporter of Mind, Chasing The Stigma, MQ Mental Health and B-eat.

SOOZ KEMPNER
Sooz Kempner is an award-winning (Musical Comedy Awards Best Newcomer, Funny Women Variety Award) comedian, singer, writer and actor who has written and performed nine solo stand-up hours at the Edinburgh Fringe, the most recent, Sooz Kempner is Ugly, selling out almost every day. She is a regular collaborator with Richard Thomas (Jerry Springer the Opera, Made in Dagenham, This Morning with Richard not Judy) and hosts two podcasts, Mystery on the Rocks and QueenPod, the official podcast for the band Queen. In 2023 she was the lead in Doctor Who’s Doom’s Day, a multi-platform spin-off for BBC Studios. Throughout lockdown she made a variety of online content including livestreams via Twitch and viral political videos where Donald Trump’s words are delivered verbatim by Liza Minnelli, and parodies of Nadine Dorries and Liz Truss. These have received press in The Guardian, The Independent and The Metro as well as in the LA Times and Chicago Tribune stateside. In 2023 Sooz was announced as Doom, the lead in Doom’s Day, a brand new Doctor Who spin-off from BBC Studios and played Tamara in Dinner With the Parents, a US sitcom for Amazon Prime and CBS. MARC BURROWS
An author, critic, comic and musician based in London, UK. His biography of Sir Terry Pratchett was published in 2020 to considerable acclaim, winning the Locus Award for best non fiction in 2021. He writes, mostly about music and film, for The Guardian, The Observer, The Quietus, the i Paper, Music OMH, the New Statesmen and Hey U Guys among many others. He has a background in stand up comedy and has performed several runs of his one-man shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as around the country.

SAM SEE
Sam See is an award nominated stand-up comedian currently based in London. His style of irreverent humor in sheep’s clothing has been sought after for more than a decade, headlining in over 25 different countries and territories. Whether he’s performing material from any of his acclaimed comedy hour shows, or improvising off the cuff, Sam has been the picture of professionalism and mild alcoholism.
His comedy specials have broken ground for Asian comedians, being the first comedian from the South East Asian comedy scene to receive Five-Star reviews at both the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He has also supported comedians like Ed Byrne (IRE/UK), Jim Jefferies (AUS/US), Bert Kreischer (USA), and Kevin Bridges (SCO).
Sam has featured on Comedy Central Asia’s Stand-Up Asia, as one of their top twelve comedians from Asia. He has also been on The Jim Jefferies Show (Comedy Central US) and was a permanent panelist on Singapore’s first ever comedy panel show, OK Chope. Sam has also delved into the realm of literature, being long-listed for the Epigram Books Fiction Prize in 2022, one of the region’s most recognized prizes in the field.
Sam has also worked with various corporate entities, like Spotify, Facebook, Twitch, BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, Cosentino Asia, TransferWise, Singapore National Library Board, McKinsey & Company, and countless of charitable organizations over the years. His custom created performances have made him a much-desired host and emcee in Singapore for various events and galas.
