Evening to Shine at DPAC – Durham, NC

Durham Public Schools (DPS) and the Durham Public Schools Foundation will be co-hosting An Evening to Shine, formerly known as An Evening of Entertainment, on February 24, 2026, at DPAC to showcase our district?s performing arts students and successes and raise money for college scholarships. As in years past, hundreds of choral and dance students representing all of the district?s schools will perform. Proceeds from An Evening to Shine support the Durham Promise Scholarship Fund, a community-funded scholarship program administered by DPS Foundation. The Fund operates based on the belief that every DPS student deserves an equitable, debt-free college education.

DPAC offers wheelchair accessible seating throughout all seating levels allowing for a choice in view and ticket prices. In addition there are also seating options for guests with visual, hearing and mobility impairments. Bariatric seating and seating for persons of size are also available. Accessible seats are available online and in person or by phone at The Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Ticket Center at DPAC. The Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Ticket Center at DPAC is open in person Monday-Friday 10am-2pm, and by phone Monday-Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm, and three hours prior to each performance. The Ticket Center is located on the northeast corner of DPAC on the corner of Vivian St and Mangum St.
