Sinopsis: Tessa es una jóven y brillante abogada. Se ha abierto camino desde sus humildes orígenes hasta llegar a lo más alto de su profesión: defender, interrogar y ganar. Tessa es ahora una jugadora estrella, pero su cuidadosa actuación en su discreta parte del mundo empieza a parecer peligrosa, y se ve atrapada entre su vida y su sistema de creencias. De repente se ve empujada a una situación en la que pone a prueba el sistema por sí misma, y descubre que los muros de esa estructura hermética en la que confiaba empiezan a desmoronarse y que no hay nada seguro a lo que aferrarse.
