MEGA is that rare artist whose voice and songwriting seems to connect with our very souls. The British-Ugandan artist’s fourth EP, I Am Enough, is a stunning and assured work that urges us to reclaim our power, and to step into life with a renewed sense of purpose.
The latest MEGA single My Bones currently sits on the BBC Radio 2 Playlist and The Times Best New Songs Of 2025.
MEGA’s music is a vivid tapestry of influences, drawing from her Ugandan heritage, childhood experiences in choirs, and love of a broad spectrum of genres including soul, pop and indie. Early champions include the likes of The Independent, NME, Wonderland, Clash and support across BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 6. Her debut single, Chariot, a radiant anthem of hope and resilience, has now surpassed 50 million streams and led to two acclaimed EPs, Future Me and Colour Your World.
Recently, MEGA headlined the Southbank Centre’s Meltdown Festival curated by Little Simz, sharing the stage with artists such as Ghetts, Jon Batiste, Lola Young, Sasha Keable, and The Streets. Her live shows are renowned for their communal energy, uniting audiences of all ages in moments of collective empowerment.
The power of her music is evident in its unique ability to connect with a global fanbase and unite people from every walk of life, the communal nature is palpable when MEGA plays live – a special sight indeed. MEGA has sold out shows across Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and her hometown of London, gracing stages of some of the UK and Europe’s most notable festivals including Reading & Leeds Festival, Cross The Tracks, Latitude and Montreux Jazz Festival. Performing on stage is something that has become a second nature to MEGA, further honed over the years on tours with the likes of Cat Burns, Self Esteem, Hozier & more.
