ABOUT EAM:
2026 continued to be a year of growth and new beginnings for us at EAM. Over the last year EAM has continued to growwith increased online support groups, including Knowledge is Power and the only ALF (Accelerated Long-term Forgetting) Support group in Canada, while introducing new programs like Hobscotch and our development of a Caregivers support program. We steadily connect, support, and educate people with epilepsy around the Maritimes. Like so many others, we continue to o er programming both virtually and in person. We hosted monthly support group meetings, education sessions at schools and within our communities and continued to o er patient navigation to individuals throughout the Maritime provinces. As we grow across the Maritimes, our programs are becoming more meaningful to our community. We continue to o er formal training for our Seizure First Aid and Epilepsy program that will train volunteers to lead our program in more areas across the Maritimes. We o er the PACES program which helps build skills for self-management and resilience for people living with epilepsy. We are delighted to reconnect in person with all of you and look forward to gathering to celebrate the strength and optimism of people living with epilepsy and
their families at the 2026 Purple Day Gala.
