SUPER (LR-2019-473) PRESENTEMAROSO MUCH HAS CHANGEDMARO est une musicienne, autrice-compositrice et productrice originaire de Lisbonne, au Portugal.?Diplômée du Berklee College of Music à Boston, elle débute sa carrière en 2018 avec la sortie de cinq albums et d’un EP. Elle rejoint ensuite Jacob Collier pour sa tournée mondiale DJESSE, en tant que membre de son groupe. Durant ces années, MARO a également assuré les premières parties d’artistes tels que Jessie J, Gipsy Kings, Charlotte Cardin et The Paper Kites.En 2020, elle lance le projet ITSAME, MARO!, une série de 100 collaborations avec des artistes du monde entier, parmi lesquels Eric Clapton, Pablo Alborán, Lizzy McAlpine, Ivan Lins, Vitor Kley, ANAVITÓRIA, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Maria Gadú, Mayra Andrade, Rui Veloso et Lennon Stella.MARO remporte ensuite le Festival da Canção et représente le Portugal à l’Eurovision 2022 avec la chanson “saudade, saudade”, qui termine dans le top 10. Elle sort ensuite l’album can you see me?, mêlant influences pop, trap, musiques du monde et folk.En avril 2023, MARO publie hortelã, un album acoustique enregistré en trio avec les guitaristes catalans Darío Barroso et Pau Figueres. Chanté principalement en portugais, cet album remporte le Prix José Afonso du Meilleur Album Portugais de l’Année.Après leur collaboration sur l’EP PIRILAMPO, MARO et NASAYA sortent LIFELINE en 2024, un projet plus électronique marquant une nouvelle direction artistique.Depuis trois ans, MARO enchaîne les tournées à guichets fermés partout dans le monde, aussi bien avec son trio acoustique qu’avec son duo électronique. Elle a partagé la scène avec Jacob Collier, Odesza et Parcels, et a assuré les premières parties de Shawn Mendes pendant sa tournée d’été.Elle annonce aujourd’hui la sortie de son nouvel album SO MUCH HAS CHANGED, une œuvre lumineuse et pleine d’énergie, marquant une nouvelle étape dans son parcours.
