The ultimate progressive rock tribute show, performing the classics by the masters of the genre.From ‘Musical Box’ by Genesis on the album Foxtrot to ’Yours is no Disgrace’ by Yes-opening track on the first album of the classic line-up to many more in between.

Outside the Original are the only Scottish progressive rock tribute show that you can hear perform this eclectic mix of songs.
The band has been formed by James Finnigan who grew up listening to these epic masterpieces.

Like many musicians in the 80s James featured in very successful pop and rock bands; first with pop band Hue and Cry, then moving on as one of the founder members of rock band Stiltskin.

This musical journey has lead James back to his roots.

Outside the Original are a six piece band who faithfully reproduce the timeless masterpieces from the giants of progressive rock, performing a selection of classics by: Emerson Lake and Palmer, Genesis, King Crimson, Yes and Pink Floyd – among others. The band have spent months in the studio rehearsing and refining the arrangements of the music.

Joining James to produce the sound live are fellow band members Paul Adams, George Falconer, Suzanne McKenzie (McFleetwood),Gerry Phimister and John Hallam.

The band will perform two exciting sets of carefully curated songs at each concert INCLUDING THE FULL FOXTROT ALBUM BY GENESIS.

Approx Stage times 8pm as the two sets are a fraction longer than normal and be good to get in sharp, grab a good spot and be ready for this superb band.

Please Have your QR code ready to scan in when you arrive. If you have a group please try to have everyone checkin at the same time rather than dribs and drabs. 
After the Live Show wraps up downstairs your ticket also includes entry to the Rock Club afterwards to 3am if you can handle it. So whether it’s for just one for the road or you want to party on with us you are welcome to do so at no extra cost. 
This Event is 18+ Only 

For live shows we are fully accessible for anyone with mobility issues or wheelchairs as all live events are on ground level with no stairs. Fully accessible toilet also on ground level. Large Screens around the venue with camera’s on stage to show the live action should a suitable vantage point for anyone in a wheelchair be hard to find. Nightclub level is upstairs with no accessible access however all music is broadcast downstairs through the night from our DJ’s.
