The bands journey began in 2021 at an open mic night in downtown Asheville, where Ciaran McMeeken, Benjamin Voigt, and Jonathan Calhoun discovered a shared passion for storytelling through music. Their chemistry was undeniable, sparking a creative partnership that would define their early years. In 2024, Ashes s Americas Got Talent, delivering three emotionally charged, harmony-driven performances that resonated with millions of viewers and judges alike. Their magnetic stage presence and powerful storytelling earned them national recognition, a devoted new fanbase, and proved their sound could connect on the biggest of stages.In late 2024, Benjamin Voigt made the difficult decision to step away from the band.
