A recent Grateful Web feature described their performances as a night of healing, heart, and pure Jerry magic, noting that The Garcia Project opens a little doorway back to the Jerry Garcia Band years, with the same warmth, looseness, and deep musical breath that defined the original concerts.Over the years, fans have affectionately dubbed The Garcia Project the DSO of JGB not as a comparison to any other band, but to express the level of precision, intention, and respect they bring to recreating classic shows.
