Luicidal est un groupe de punk rock originaire de Venice, Los Angeles, Californie, formé en 2012. Le groupe est composé de Louichi Mayorga (basse), R.J. Herrera (batterie), Mike Clark (guitare), Rocky George (guitare) et Mando Ochoa (chant), les membres originaux de Suicidal Tendencies.Histoire du groupeLe bassiste Louiche Mayorga a décidé de former Luicidal avec son ancien compagnon de Suicidal Tendencies, R.J. Herrera, après avoir regretté de ne plus « être sur scène en tant qu’artiste ». Afin de monter le groupe, ils ont été rejoints par Mando Ochoa (Sick Sense) au chant et Ricky Reynaga (Rated X, Rolling Papers et Sancho’s Revenge) à la guitare. Luicidal interprète des chansons issues des trois premiers albums studio de Suicidal Tendencies, Suicidal Tendencies, Join the Army et How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can’t Even Smile Today ; Mayorga jouait de la basse sur les deux premiers, tandis que Herrera jouait de la batterie sur les deux derniers. Luicidal a sorti son premier album, Luicidal, le 14 octobre 2014 chez DC-Jam Records. Mayorga a décrit l’orientation musicale comme « badass, à la manière de la musique de Suicidal dans les années 80 ». Luicidal compte parmi ses invités d’anciens membres de Suicidal Tendencies, Rocky George, Grant Estes et Amery Smith, ainsi que H.R. de Bad Brains et Dale Henderson de Beowülf.
