Join the Oregon Pacific Islander Coalition for our annual Pacific Power Mixer! Whether you are new to community organizing, an active student leader or parent on your school campus, or advocating for Pacific climate resilience this mixer is a great relationship building opportunity to deepen our connections as the people of Oceania.

The Pacific Power Mixer is a night of making connections, enjoying food, and sharing our visions for Pacific Islander futures in Oregon. Come meet your fellow PI organizers!

What is OPIC?

OPIC is a community organizing space for Pacific Islander (Melanesian, Micronesian, and Polynesian) people in Oregon. We are a space run by Pacific Islanders, for Pacific Islanders and are working to provide the health, education, and power building resources our people deserve.

Who is this event for?

THE PEOPLE OF OCEANIA! We would love to meet those who are community organizing and welcome those who are new to organizing and want to learn more.

OPIC recognizes organizing in all forms. Whether you are leading a youth group at church, coordinating your weekly Anty walking group, or advocating for better education at your local school.
