To celebrate Earth Day, meet us at Hendrix Creek patio for a hike to learn about the transformation from landfill to park.
Come celebrate Earth Day at Shirley Chisholm State Park with an afternoon hike! Join us on Saturday, April 4th, from 1pm to 3pm for a hike where we’ll learn about the park’s landfill history.
This hike is open to all ages! Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
This program is free!
We will meet at Hendrix Creek Patio, near the Penn parking lot. Please wear comfortable shoes for gravel trails, dress warmly, and bring water!
