You can sit in silence, pray, meditate, read, journal, etc. – whatever your soul craves.
Alone Together is a silent beach meditation gathering held, inspired by the invitation in the book The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer and the ancient rhythm of Sabbath a sacred pause in a culture of chronic hurry. In a world that constantly pulls at our attention, this hour is a gentle rebellion: a choice to slow down, quiet the noise of the modern world, and tune in to your own inner frequency. Together, we will share the shoreline in intentional silence no phones, no conversation, no agenda simply space to be.
Youre encouraged to bring a physical journal and fully disconnect from all devices for the hour. Solitude, by definition, is the state of being alone without being lonely; it is not isolation, but rather a deliberate and intentional practice of turning inward to listen more deeply. This is a morning to practice being alone together anchored in stillness, grounded in nature, and reconnected to the quiet wisdom within.
“THERE IS A SECRET TO HAPPINESS, IT’S SIMPLE – PRESENCE TO THE MOMENT.”
