About the Guest Artist
Regina Bunting is a modern impressionistic painter working primarily in acrylic. Creativity has been a constant presence in her life since childhood, inspired early on by her uncle Jo, a prominent fashion designer in the Philippines. Watching him draw and paint sparked Reginas own passion for artistic expression.
After moving to the United States at age twelve, Regina continued exploring art through the programs at Carmel High School, taking every art elective she could. While her career path eventually led her to nursing and raising a family, art remained an important part of her life. What began as a personal creative outlet gradually evolved into a meaningful second career.
Reginas work is intuitive and expressive, often revealing emotions she only fully understands once she begins painting. Through movement, color, and layered brushwork, she creates vibrant compositions that reflect both feeling and atmosphere.
Her guiding belief echoes the words of her uncle: if you are truly passionate about something, it will always remain a part of you and eventually flourish. For Regina, painting is a way to share beauty with the worldone canvas at a time.
