This potluck event is all about connecting with neighbors and sharing ideas for building community. Bring yummy food from your heritage, stories about your ancestors, ideas for the future–and your kids, grandparents and friends! This is the closing celebration for the Journeys to Albany–Paths to Belonging exhibition and everyone is welcome! The exhibition features the migration stories of seven local families and celebrates all the people of Albany. It will be closing soon–April 23. It’s the culmination of Path to Belonging, two years of community conversations, workshops, and artmaking, sponsored by the City of Albany’s Creative Justice Art program. Co-sponsored by the Albany Library. Come hungry and leave inspired! At the Albany Community Center, 1249 Marin Ave. Albany.
