About This Event:
The DMC Promise Foundation invites you to an empowering space where Black mothers can connect, heal, and access vital postpartum resources. This year’s theme, “The Reason,” focuses on real-life stories and community voices to highlight why your health and wellness are our top priority.
What to Expect:
- Expert-Led Panel & Discussions: Join a “town-hall” style conversation on postpartum care, infant wellness, and systemic maternal health challenges.
- Workshops for Growth: Participate in sessions led by experts and other specialists focused on self-advocacy, education, and emotional resilience.
- Resource Fair: Connect with local organizations and vendors dedicated to supporting your journey.
- The “Village” Experience: Enjoy delicious food, refreshments, opportunities for relaxation, and giveaways/raffle prizes in a safe, respectful environment.

- Location: Student Center at Morgan State University.
- Capacity: Registration is capped at 75–80 people to maintain an intimate and impactful experience.
