…………………………… Summary
On a remote island in the not-so-distant future, a revolutionary factory ushers in a new era of worldwide prosperity by liberating humanity from the tedious burden of labor. Their product: artificially intelligent workers, called “robots.” Their name: Rossum’s Universal Robots, Inc.
Enter Helena Glory, an activist on a mission to save the robots from servitude.
Can she convince the businessmen at the helm of this global enterprise to change their ways before the end of the world? The executives of R.U.R. are faced with an impossible choice: listen to one woman, or the call of progress?
