Rêves de Renouveau invites the listener into the inner world of Sergei Rachmaninoff, where music and poetry meet in a shared language of longing, memory, and renewal. Drawing on texts from Russia’s Silver Age, a period known for its symbolic depth and spiritual searching, these songs and piano works follow a path from quiet reflection to transformation. Set in the sacred space of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, the program unfolds as both a concert and a meditation, concluding with the First Piano Sonata.
