The Pie Sessions with Honeypie Bakeshop | Sweet & Savory Hand Pies at Palomino Bar – Milwaukee, WI

Learn the tricks to making your very own delicious pies with the expert baking team of Honeypie Bakeshop.

This very fun lesson in Sweet & Savory Hand Pie making is led by our founder and Chief Executive Pie Officer, Valeri Lucks. We will learn how to make a butter-based pie crust and then work through a lesson in rolling and folding techniques to get perfect, yummy hand-held pies. We’ll provide you with sweet and savory fillings for your pies. Each student will make 6 hand pies with the fillings of their choosing. We will bake them off in class and in the end you will have delicious treats to take home to share (or keep for yourself!)

Our classes are held inside the Honeypie Bakeshop kitchen inside our sister cafe Palomino, this hands-on class will guide you through a variety of different aspects of baking and give you a peek into the life of our bakeshop. Class does have us standing most of the time and working at a table in a professional kitchen. Should you need a seated option for class, please contact us and we can make arrangements.

Tickets for class include a tap beer, well cocktail, glass of wine, or NA beverage of your choice – all of your ingredients, a printed recipe with instructions, and your finished treats!

Classes are approximately 2.5-3 hours and are limited to 12 people. The Palomino kitchen and bar is open before class and during class serving drinks and our full dinner menu.

(Please note, we often have wait lists for our pie classes. Tickets to class are non-refundable if you cancel without more than 72 hours notice. If you need to cancel within 72 hours of class, you are welcome to email us, and we will offer your spot to a person on the waiting list. If it is taken by someone waiting, we will refund your ticket. You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend and they can attend in your place.)
