Herbal Inspired Simple Syrups at Garden Dreams Urban Farm & Nursery – Pittsburgh, PA

Ever wondered how to make a simple syrup to elevate your own unique mocktails? In this class we will go over tips and tricks for making your own herbal simple syrups that can be used in mocktails, sparkling water, tea, or however works best for you. Fresh, dry, and foraged aromatic herbal ingredients will be discussed and sampled.

Participants will take part in making an example simple syrup, and will be able to take home a small sample of the finished product.

Parking: There is limited on street parking. Can park at park’n’ride lot at Hamnett Station.

If traveling by Bus: Garden Dreams is one block from Busway. Hamnet Station. 61A. 

Accessibility: Site entrance accessible by sidewalk, then gravel driveway to greenhouse. Greenhouse has limited paved concrete access. While gardens are uneven grass surfaces
