The American Chinese Box Office Culture Communication Company will launch the first blockbuster project “50 Years of Taiwan Campus Folk Songs” on a U.S. tour in 2026. Since the rise of the folk song movement in 1975, Wu Chuchu, Luo Dayou, Qi Yu, Hou Dejian, Zheng Yi, Pan Yueyun, Hu Defu, Yin Zhengyang, Wu Zhengxiao, Wang Menglin and other singers have led Chinese pop music into a new era. Fifty years later, the youth of that year has become a classic. This tour in the United States may also be the last time these folk songs represent the same stage, which is of great commemorative value.
