About the Show

The Mother of Pearl Pageant 2026 reaches its final round. After beginning with ten Bay Area drag artists, the competition has been narrowed to six finalists, each competing for the crown and cash prizes.

In the finale, contestants compete across three categories:

✨ Live Q + A
✨ Six-Person Lip-Sync Battle

By the end of the night, one performer will be crowned the winner of the Mother of Pearl Pageant 2026.

1st Place: $1,500 + Crown
2nd Place: $600
3rd Place (4 performers): $100 each

plus The People’s Pearl congeniality award ($200)

Clutch The Pearls is Detour Productions’ monthly queer cabaret — a mash-up of drag, dance, and performance art that’s become a Mission District staple. Each show features mentorship, experimental new work, and a lineup of Bay Area’s fiercest artists.
