Known for its elegance, clever lyricism, and melodic ingenuity, Porters music provides the perfect canvas for this dynamic collaboration, offering fresh perspectives while honoring the composers unmistakable style.Joining Yeager and Poindexter is an extraordinary rhythm section: master drummer Steve Little (Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Sesame Street) and legendary bassist Bill Crowe (Stan Getz, J.J. Johnson, Gerry Mulligan). Together, this all-star quartet delivers vibrant, inventiveinterpretations of Porters beloved classics, blending swing, sophistication, and joyfulspontaneity.Adding extra sparkle to the evening are two distinguished guest artists: Julie Benko Broadway sensation and vocal powerhouse Sasha Papernik Renowned pianist, accordionist, and vocalistDont Fence Me In The Music of Cole Porter promises an evening of wit, warmth, and musical excellence, celebrating songs that continue to charm audiences across generations.Pianist and composer Jason Yeager draws upon such varied influences as pianist Thelonious Monk, author Kurt Vonnegut, the Latin American nueva cancin movement, and the early jazz of New Orleans. An adroit and sensitive accompanist as well as an imaginative soloist, Jason has released a number of critically acclaimed albums, including most recently his collaborative effort with violinist Jason Anick, Sanctuary (Sunnyside Records, 2024), and Julie Benkos celebration of New Orleans, Euphonic Gumbo (Club44 Records, 2025). Jason has also worked with such acclaimed artists as Miguel Zenn, Luciana Souza, George Garzone, and Sean Jones. He has performed across five continents, at such storied venues as Carnegie Hall, Birdland, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and on Broadway. In addition to his work as a bandleader, Yeager hascontributed to over 40 additional recordings as pianist, arranger, and producer. A Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of the Tufts/New England Conservatory Double Degree Program and the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, Jason is currently an Associate Professor of Piano at Berklee
