THE BOURNEMOUTH AIR FESTIVAL 2026: 20, 21, 22, 23 AUGUST 2026

The greatest airshow on the South Coast is destined to be back in 2026 …but only with YOUR help!

Save Our Show!
This is an unmissable offer for all fans of the Bournemouth Air Festival: Buy an AIR SHOW AIRCARD single ticket for £2.00 or Family ticket for £5.00 now, and save 10% off of ALL food and drink at the show.

Putting on the ritz…
BCP Council will not put the airshow on anymore as it costs them £1M every year, but they suffer a £500,000 loss each time. And the cost for organising the event is due to go up by about 20% next year. So, whilst BCP simply haven’t the funds, they have agreed to give US the license to put the airshow on: But only on the strict proviso that we can raise the budget to do so… first!

BCP has kindly agreed to save us the airshow dates in 2026 and 2027. We’ve had the initial meeting with them and submitted a full budget and proposal. We need to undertake a lot of SAG Meetings (Safety Advisory Group) and put a lot of safety measures in place of course, but the key element is raisng the funds. First. So, using our huge experience in running live events over the last 30 years whilst we know how to put a show on, to raise the funds we need YOUR help please. We’ve come up with a simple, but brilliant idea. And one that will actually save you more money than you spend!

How?
It’s a great idea. It won’t cost Visitors much now AND it will save them money at the airshow.

Visitors buy either a Single £2.00 or Family £5.00 AIRCARD now (plus the standard Ticketmaster handling fee – sorry!) which then gives you 10% off ALL food and drink at the show itself.

We estimate that the £2 aircard will save individuals about £20 at the airshow, whilst the £5 aircard will save families about £50 – if not a whole lot more. With thanks to our official catering partners WISE CATERING they will keep their prices low AND give Aircard holders 10% off. Every time. Every day.

We think this is a brilliant way to raise the budget to put the show on AND save everyone money. We’re also hoping to extend this scheme to local pubs, hotels and restaurants to save Visitors even more money, thanks to our partners Wise Catering. Please read the AIRCARD details below and help Save Our Show!

How much does it actually cost to put the airshow on?
We want to be transparent on costs – we think it’s the only way that we can bring the Bournemouth Air Festival back in 2026 and every year after that. In 2024, the budget for the whole show was nearly a million, ie £928,117.00 to be recise. From that, BCP only got back £583,500.00 which meant that BCP ran at a loss of £344,617 and the costs were due to go up dramatically next year.

So whilst BCP can’t afford to lose this much anymore, they have held the 2026 dates for us. But it’s a huge amount that we need to raise BEFORE they officially agree to give us the license. No budget, no license, no airshow. it’s as simple as that, sadly.

Can we do it? Yes we can – but only with YOUR help, please!

What’s the show worth to Bournemouth and the surrounding areas?
BCP estimate that the show brings in a staggering £50 MILLION to local areas, and £14M of that is new spend across the accommodation, hospitaility and entertainment sectors. With the airshow not being held in 2024 we think that’s a terrible blow to the local economy – and we aim to right that wrong. As from 2026 we aim to bring the Bournemouth Air Festival BACK!!

Why am I paying for a FREE Airshow?
That’s a good question – but you’re actually saving money.

I’ve personally gone to the clifftop in Southbourne with my family to watch the show in previous years and not paid a penny to watch it, apart from food and drink. But with BCP simply not being able to afford to put the show on anymore, then we either raise the funds ourselves or not have the show.

With the £2 and £5 AIRCARD scheme we can raise the budget to put the show on AND give Visitors much more back than they’ve paid for the Aircard. But you need to act now please! The ‘Earlybird scheme’ aims to raise 100% of the funds needed by 1st February 2026 at these prices, but after that we only have a further month to raise the funds (ie 1st March 2026) so the AIRCARDS have to go up to £5 and £10 respectively. After the 1st March 2026 if we haven’t raised 100% of the funds then we have to pull the plug – there simply won’t be enough times to raise the budget to get the 2026 airshow off the ground.

Who we are:
The Organisers (Dave Rogers and Steve Cunningham) have 30 years of managing live events each) on the Operations and safety side of things. David is the Health & Safety Manager for the Southampton Boat Show (having started off doinf safety at the British International Motor Shows waaaay back in 1994) and Steve provides Operations for the global art fairs (London, Miami etc).

We’ll be spending a (small fortune) on security, toilets, cleaning, medics, air display teams, traffic management, Safety Advisory Groups, Police, catering, etc etc. We can do all that, no problem – it’s what we do. But raising the budget? Only YOU can help us do that… but at £2 or £5 per ticket to get 10% back on all food and drink at the show…???? We think it’s an absolute bargain.

We hope you think so, too!

THE AIRSHOW AIRCARD SCHEME:

So. That’s it for now. Thankyou for reading this far, it means a lot to us. Getting the Bournemouth Air Festival back in the air (geddit??!!) for 2026 means a lot to us. With your help we CAN do it.
