World-class Chefs, innovative cuisine, a spectacular setting, reconnecting with friends, and the beauty of a summer evening by the Rideau Canal…
The Chef’s Table is a farm-to-table feast with menus curated by Canadian chefs and musical entertainment. Presented by the Ontario Festival of Small Halls, this year’s series will run for one weekend in June, two weekends in August and one weekend in September, in collaboration with the National Arts Centre’s Resident Chefs Program.
This multi-weekend event will once again showcase world-class chefs and great live music, from the patio of the NAC’s 1 Elgin Restaurant, by Ottawa’s gorgeous Rideau Canal. The 2026 Chef’s Table lineup will include some of the region’s most celebrated musical acts and menus curated by Chef Kenton Leier (of the National Arts Centre), along with several of Canada’s finest chefs.
Celebrate a special occasion with a three-course meal from world-class chefs – or just enjoy reconnecting with your closest friends over food, music, and the beauty of a summer night by the Rideau Canal.

Chef Ginger Auger
Ginger is a Métis/Cree iskwew and CEO Founder of Ginger’s Bannock House; an indigenous catering company located in Fort McMurray. She specializes in indigenous infusion food and story. She has been cooking with her mother since she was 6 years old. Making food from scratch and growing up in poverty.
Chef Kenton Leier
Executive chef Kenton Leier brings enthusiasm, passion, and creativity to the kitchens at Canada’s National Arts Centre. His culinary philosophy relies on the use of sustainable and locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality, and letting their inherent qualities stand out in his dishes.
Music: Gwenifer Raymond
Wales-born, Brighton-based instrumentalist Gwenifer Raymond is a celebrated champion of the finger-picked guitar. She has drawn international acclaim for her repurposing of Mississippi blues and John Fahey’s intricate Americana to embody her roots in rural South Wales and her interests in folk horror and the avant-garde, inventing a new form dubbed Welsh Primitive.

Ginger est une Métisse/Crie iskwew et PDG fondatrice de Ginger’s Bannock House, une entreprise de restauration autochtone située à Fort McMurray. Elle est spécialisée dans la cuisine et les récits autochtones. Elle cuisine avec sa mère depuis l’âge de six ans. Elle prépare ses plats à partir de produits frais et a grandi dans la pauvreté.
Kenton Leier, chef
Kenton Leier, chef exécutif au Centre national des Arts du Canada, se démarque par son enthousiasme, sa passion et sa créativité. Sa philosophie culinaire s’appuie sur le recours à des ingrédients locaux et écologiques de la meilleure qualité ainsi que sur la mise en valeur de leurs caractéristiques intrinsèques.
