Feel the beat, make some noise, and discover the joy of making music together! This upbeat, once-a-month program invites children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore music through rhythm, teamwork, and creativity in a supportive group setting.

Each themed session features a fun musical theme and hands-on play with boomwhackers, Orff instruments, and all kinds of percussion — so every young musician can shine, no experience needed!

What to expect:
· Learn to keep the beat and to play as a team.
· Build confidence through self-expression and sound exploration.
· Connect with others in a fun, encouraging, and inclusive space.
· Team up with your parent or support staff for shared musical moments.
· Engage, along with your required support person, in a welcoming and inclusive community accessible to families who may otherwise lack music opportunities.

All abilities welcome! Come make some joyful noise — where every kid gets to be part of the band!

Program Details:
Class size is limited to 10 participants, each accompanied by their required parent or support staff. Please share any accommodation needs during registration — Sweetwater and the instructor will provide all reasonable accommodations, except one-on-one aid, which must be supplied by the participant’s own support person.
