Ghinzu s’est formé à l’aube du nouveau millénaire, avec John Stargasm rejoint par Mika Hasson à la basse, Greg Remy à la guitare, Jean Waterlot à la guitare et aux claviers, et Antoine Michel à la batterie. En façonnant l’indie rock selon leur vision artistique, Ghinzu trouve sa place avec son premier album « Electronic Jacuzzi », avant de connaître un large succès critique avec « Blow » (2004) puis « Mirror Mirror » (2009).
