Louis XVI se rapproche alors d’un mystérieux personnage : Madame la Baronne.Madame la Baronne ne vit que pour elle, prête à tout pour préserver son image, sa fortune et sa personne. Ses relations lui permettront de changer le cours de l’histoire française et elle exercera son influence au travers de ses pantins : les députés.Elle profitera de la situation révolutionnaire chaotique qui plane sur la France tout en y participant secrètement pour faire tomber le roi.
