Our 1.5 km trail is much more than just a walk; it’s a portal into the fascinating world of sloths in their natural habitat. With our dedicated guide, you’ll discover the magic of observing these charming animals in their day-to-day lives, without disturbing their daily routine.

We’ve created an oasis for two- and three-toed sloths on our property. Over the years, we’ve reforested and protected their home, and now we share the fruits of this great effort with all our visitors. Imagine walking through the lush vegetation and meeting these friendly inhabitants, and best of all, we’re just 1.5 km from the center of La Fortuna, their home.

Our guide, who’s passionate about the local flora and fauna, will share impressive details about the sloths, giving us a deeper insight into their fascinating lives. At the end of the tour, a unique culinary experience awaits us: a small tasting of artisanal cane juice and a traditional tortilla class with the charming Doña Elith. And don’t forget to visit her medicinal plant garden to round off this trip full of nature and culture!

At the end of this tour, we’ll head to the coffee and chocolate tour in North Field, a tour of approximately 2.5 hours where you can learn everything from the seed gestation process to how to make delicious chocolate.
