The Athabasca Glacier is one of the “six toes” of the Columbia Icefield, and where you’ll have the unique opportunity to walk on a glacier and to sip from its virgin streams.

Board a massive Ice Explorer and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime adventure as you ride directly onto the glacier. Afterwards, spend approximately 20 minutes walking on the extremely thick, 25,000-year-old ice. After a delicious hot lunch at Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre, take a short ride to the Columbia Icefield Skywalk.
