Start your day in Long Beach, where your guides suit you up with everything you need—jet ski, wetsuit, safety gear, and snorkeling equipment. After a safety briefing and orientation, you’re off. The open ocean ride takes about 1.5 hours each way, and it’s no ordinary commute.

This stretch of water is famous for its playful dolphin pods, and it’s not uncommon to have dozens jumping through your wake or gliding beside you on the journey. It’s a surreal experience—just you, your jet ski, and the open Pacific.

When you reach Two Harbors, you’ll feel like you’ve discovered a secret side of Catalina. Tucked between two bays on the narrowest part of the island, Two Harbors is far less developed than Avalon. There’s one restaurant, one general store, and nothing but pristine nature in every direction.
