Microorganisms called dinoflagellates, lives in combined fresh and salt water and creates the bioluminescent effect. They shine brightest in warm shallow waters. The lagoon sparkles at night when the water is disturbed. Go ahead and dip your hand or foot in the water and see it light up.

Come see the beauty of the water at night. Wear a bathing suit and take a towel to enjoy swimming in the luminescent water once the boat is far out enough. Don’t forget your cameras to take pictures of the luminescent water around you. Watch as your body and swimsuit light up as you move around.
