Embark on a 58 km cross-country biking adventure to Teotitlan del Valle while exploring the countryside. Visit Dainzu archaeological site, explore Teotitlan, and enjoy a well-earned lunch in a village

PRICE: $64
per person

Meet in downtown Oaxaca and begin your journey. Ride on a safe bike lane covered with tree shades which is mostly flat as you get out of the city. During this part, see the outskirts of the city, beautiful hills, and crop fields.

Once out of the city, get on the trail to continue the ride through the agave fields and see the beautiful landscapes of rural Oaxaca. Along the ride, bike through some pueblos (villages), riding alongside Sierra Norte mountains, until you make it to Teotitlan del Valle. Get off the bikes and have time to explore, by foot, the square, church, and the traditional wool rug workshops.

Then, get back on the bikes to continue towards Dainzú (archeological site) which is hidden against a foothill surrounded by massive Pitayo and Nopal cacti. Explore the site by foot.

Later, bike to Tlacochahuaya village to get a well-earned lunch. Finally, ride back to Oaxaca.
