Step back in time as you explore remarkably well-preserved Roman ruins, intricate mosaics, and iconic Game of Thrones filming locations.

Italica, founded in 206 BC by General Publius Cornelius Scipio, is one of the most important Roman archaeological sites in Spain. It is also the birthplace of emperors Trajan and Hadrian.

Stroll through its ancient streets and admire the grand amphitheater—once one of the largest in the Roman Empire with a seating capacity of 25,000. Walk the underground passages once used by gladiators and see the den where lions were held before combat.

Game of Thrones fans will recognize the amphitheater as the Dragonpit, the dramatic setting for a key summit in season seven.

The tour also includes a visit to the nearby Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, a medieval fortress showcasing Mudejar, Gothic, and Baroque architecture.
