Your guide for the day will collect you at your accommodation in St Lucia or meet you at the entrance of the game reserve. A comprehensive briefing before setting off will be done to ensure that everyone is aware of the days’ schedule, as well as Covid-19 policies and safety procedures. Your game drive will see you drive through the rolling hills and valleys of the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, an area once occupied by Zulu Kings and home to one of the highest densities of White Rhino in the world. Your ‘eagle eye’ guide will point out animals, plants and birds and interpret the environment in a way you’ve never experienced before. The Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park will offer any safari goer a feast for the senses, it is home to Africa’s Big 5, Cheetah, African Wild Dog, Hyena (collectively known as the Magnificent 8 of Africa) and over 350 bird species, as well spectacular scenic views of Zululand.
Your safari will include a light breakfast and a traditional South African ‘Braai’ or barbecue lunch in a scenic setting within the park. Refreshments will be served during the day, and you will be kept informed throughout the day of your itinerary and planned stops.
