Diving Adventure in the Amazing Golfo Dulce – Golfito, Costa Rica

Join us for an unforgettable half-day scuba diving experience in the pristine waters of the Golfo Dulce, Costa Rica’s wreck diving capital. With three known wrecks and more being discovered, this underwater playground offers a unique opportunity for certified divers to explore sunken vessels and amazing reefs teeming with life and history.

Tour Overview:

Departure: 8:00 AM from Banana Bay Marina, Golfito

Return: 12:30 PM

Dives: 2 guided immersions at different sites.

Depths: Vary from 40 ft (18 m) to 100 ft (30 m), depending on site and diver experience

What You’ll Experience (Step by Step):

Check-In & Briefing (7:30 AM):
Meet your PADI-certified dive guides at Banana Bay Marina. We’ll go over the day’s plan, safety protocols, and choose the best dive sites based on your experience and conditions.

Boat Ride to Dive Sites:
A scenic boat ride through the calm, emerald waters of the Golfo Dulce takes you to your first dive site.

First Dive – (Approx. 9:15 AM):
Descend into history as you explore the water eather stunning reefs or one of Golfito’s iconic wrecks—possibly a 100 ft cargo vessel or a sunken sailboat, now transformed into a vibrant reef. Swim through shadowy corridors and overgrown hulls surrounded by swirling schools of Snapper, Barracuda, and curious Groupers.

Surface Interval:
Relax on board, rehydrate, enjoy light snacks, cookies, and beverages while soaking in views of the tropical coastline and swap stories while the boat repositions for your second dive. Keep an eye out for dolphins and sea birds along the way.

Second Dive – (Approx. 10:30 AM):
Dive into a different site—either another sunken vessel or a thriving reef nearby. Expect encounters with Moray Eels, Starfish, Trumpet Fish, and if you’re lucky, Spotted Eagle Rays or even a Reef White-tip Shark gliding silently by.

Return to Marina (12:30 PM):
Head back to Banana Bay Marina with unforgettable memories, new friends, and maybe even a few nudibranch photos to brag about.
