Learn the basics of sea kayaking with a traditional Greenland paddle on a 4-hour course in a small group. Get personalized instruction from an experienced guide and learn how to paddle with a handcrafted wooden paddle.

Start with on-land instruction and a safety briefing. Adjust the gear to your stature and be on the water soon after. Paddle with a premium quality polyethylene and/or composite British kayak and a handcrafted wooden Traditional Greenland paddle.

Introduce a variety of paddle strokes and maneuvers specific to sea kayaking. Based on your interest and abilities, learn more advanced techniques like safety and rescue. Opt-out of some of the exercises and scenarios if you prefer.

Enjoy a 3-hour paddling session on the water. By the end of the course, become a more confident kayaker and feel more comfortable having the skills to play in a sea kayak.
