This tour is located in the canton of Carrillo, approximately 50 minutes from Liberia International Airport.

This tour showcases a glimpse of our culture in the province of Guanacaste and the history of our ancestors (Sabaneros, traditional food, instruments like the marimba, and antique utensils).

Our first activity will take place at one of the most renowned sugar cane factories in our province. Here, you will experience everything from sugarcane cultivation to the art of rum distillation and the process of making craft beer made by the same company.

After the rum and craft beer activities, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch at a restaurant called “La Casona,” over 170 years old and the home of a former Nicaraguan dictator and two former presidents of Costa Rica.

After completing the activities and enjoying the picturesque landscapes, we will head to the first Chorotega archaeological canton in the province of Guanacaste.

This activity is only carried out in the province of Guanacaste.
