Join this amazing tour and explore the following stops:
Stop: The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory (duration 10 minutes)
At the Rum Cake Factory, you will get to taste the most famous brand of Rum Cake in The Bahamas. The Factory sits in the heart of the city and has been there for over 20 years.
Stop: Fort Montagu (duration 15 minutes)
Enjoy the breathtaking view of a small fort that was built in 1741 and is equipped with four cannons that were used to defend the island from Spanish invaders. The Fort sits on the Eastern Shoreline of Nassau, The Bahamas.
Stop: Queen’s Staircase (duration 20 minutes)
Take photos as you walk down the Queen’s Staircase of 66 steps in The Bahamas. The steps were carved out of solid limestone by slaves in the late 1700s in an attempt to escape bondage.
Stop: Fort Fincastle (duration 15 minutes)
Fort Fincastle was purposely constructed in the city of Nassau on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas to provide protection from Pirates. The Fort was built in 1793 by Lord Dunmore.
Stop: Fort Charlotte (duration 15 minutes)
Fort Charlotte is a British-colonial era fort built on a hill overlooking the harbor of Nassau, The Bahamas. This fort was built over 200 years ago by the British to protect Nassau, The Bahamas from any invasions.
Stop: John Watling’s Rum Distillery (duration 20 minutes)
Here you will get a tour of John Watling’s Distillery, home to JOHN WATLING’S Rum and the famous RED TURTLE Vodka; an estate that was founded in 1789, also known as the “Spirit of The Bahamas”.
Stop: Junkanoo Beach (duration 20 minutes)
Junkanoo Beach offers an astonishing view. Here you will be able to take photos, participate in water sports, and have the opportunity to watch cruise ships enter and leave The Bahamas.
Stop: Arawak Cay, Fish Fry (duration 1 hour)
The final stop will be at Arawak Cay, commonly referred to as Fish Fry. Here you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to taste our local cuisines such Conch Fritters, Conch Salad, Fried Snapper Fish, Peas and Rice, Kalik, and other native dishes.
