PRICE: $175
per person
From the pristine north face of the Sierra Nevada National Park, we suggest one of the most complete and demanding circular routes. Starting from the Postero Alto Refuge, you’ll begin a memorable ascent through the impressive Barranco del Alhorí.
This route is designed for those seeking the solitude of the high mountains, away from the busiest peaks. You’ll tackle a route linking three iconic peaks that exceed 3,000 meters: Picón de Jerez (3,088m), Puntal de Juntillas (3,143m), and the majestic Cerro Pelado (3,182m).
The route: This is an intense day of high physical demand, ideal for experienced mountaineers. The route is approximately 22 kilometers long and has an accumulated positive elevation gain of more than +1,300 meters, with an estimated time of 10 to 11 hours. The route moves along spectacular ridges and areas without a defined path, requiring good orientation and constant effort.
The reward for the hardship of the day is immense. From Cerro Pelado, you’ll enjoy one of the best 360-degree viewpoints in the Sierra Nevada. The view stretches from Mulhacén and Veleta to the Mediterranean coast on clear days. You’ll explore an area of high mountain lagoons and vertical pits, experiencing the peace and grandeur of the National Park in its purest state. We’ll take our time to rest, celebrate the achievement of conquering the three peaks, and admire these simply unforgettable landscapes.
Dare to conquer the three thousand of the north! An unforgettable experience in the heart of the Sierra Nevada.
