Begin your 3-day, 2-night private Kruger National Park safari with a pickup from Hoedspruit. Travel into the park in an open safari vehicle reserved exclusively for your group, allowing for a fully private and personalized experience throughout the trip.

Once inside Kruger, the safari begins immediately as you search for the park’s most iconic wildlife while slowly making your way toward the overnight rest camp. Stop at one of the rest camps en route for coffee and morning snacks, including rusks and biscuits.

Around check-in time, arrive at the rest camp to check into your air-conditioned bungalow, where you can drop off your belongings before choosing how to spend the afternoon. Head back out on safari, relax at the pool, enjoy lunch at the rest camp restaurant, or simply take a break in camp.

As the tour is private, the pace of the day and the balance between safari time and relaxation is entirely up to you. That evening, return to the rest camp to enjoy dinner at the restaurant or make use of the self-catering facilities available in the bungalow, with supplies from the camp shop.

There is also the option to book a guided night drive operated by SANParks for an additional fee, which must be booked directly through them. The second day is completely open and flexible, offering a full day to explore Kruger at your own pace.

Choose to wake early for gate opening to maximize wildlife sightings, enjoy breakfast at the camp or visit a different rest camp, spend time on safari, relax by the pool, or book an optional guided morning bush walk through SANParks at an additional cost.

On the final morning, choose your safari start time, whether enjoying a sleep-in or exiting the camp as it opens, when predators are often seen resting on the roads before daily traffic begins. Before check-out, circle back to camp to collect luggage and enjoy breakfast.

Finally, enjoy a relaxed game drive out of the park with further opportunities for wildlife sightings along the way, before returning to Hoedspruit in the afternoon.
