Begin your adventure with an early pickup from your accommodation in Hoedspruit. Head to Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle reserved exclusively for your group, allowing for a fully private and flexible experience.

Once inside Kruger, spend the day searching for the park’s most iconic wildlife while slowly making your way toward the overnight rest camp. Stop at one of the rest camps en route for coffee and morning snacks, including rusks and biscuits.

Closer to check-in time, arrive at the rest camp to check into your air-conditioned bungalow, where you can drop off your belongings before choosing how to spend the afternoon. Head back out on safari, relax at the pool, enjoy lunch at the rest camp restaurant, or take a break in camp.

As the tour is private, the amount of time spent on safari versus at the rest camp is entirely up to you. In the evening, return to the rest camp where you can enjoy dinner at the restaurant or make use of the self-catering facilities available in the bungalow, with supplies from the camp shop.

There is also the option to book a guided night drive operated by SANParks for an additional fee, which must be booked directly with them. The following morning, choose your safari start time, whether sleeping in or exiting the gate as it opens for early wildlife viewing, when predators are often seen resting near the roads before the day’s traffic begins.

After circling back to camp to collect luggage and enjoy breakfast, continue your safari with a relaxed exit through the park, offering further wildlife sightings along the way, before returning to Hoedspruit in the afternoon.
