Explore a region of incredible geology and scenery on a full-day easy hiking tour of White Pockets on the Vermillion Cliffs from Kanab or Paria Contact Station. This is physically a very easy hiking tour for anyone able to walk over uneven rocks.

Enjoy more photography opportunities than anywhere else on Vermilion Cliffs. This is an exceptional area to explore, and the highlight of any trip to southwest canyon country. En route to White Pockets, drive off road through dramatic landscapes. Journey along the House Rock Valley road for an introduction to the Grand Staircase-Escalante.

Travel along the backcountry sandy roads, ascending to an altitude of approximately 6,000 feet. Enjoy the cooler climate, where dramatic snow and ice forms during the winter months.
