This lagoon is a protected natural area of flora and fauna in Cancun, with abundant species of plants and animals, including the protected species of red mangrove, which is of great importance for the coastal ecosystem of Quintana Roo Channels.

The waters in the lagoon are calm and easy to navigate. During the tour of the lagoon, you will be able to spot various species of local birds and fish, including albatrosses, hawks, herons, cormorants, barracudas, stingrays, pufferfish, starfish, needlefish, and many others.
