Meet your captain and board a custom-built boat in Ketchikan. Set off on a private tour with a fully customizable itinerary. Captain Jack is eager to give you the best day that he can on the water, and there’s no fixed route for this tour: just tell him what interests you most, and he’ll do what he can to deliver, whether you’re hoping to see humpbacks or bears; totem poles or a lighthouse; harbor seals or hidden coastal treasures.

Enjoy a boat that is fully wheelchair-accessible, with a large forward deck for viewing scenery and wildlife, another deck to the rear, and a spacious, enclosed cabin with huge windows for comfortable viewing from indoors.

Learn about the area from Captain Jack, a year-round Ketchikan resident with 13 years of ocean guiding experience. Hear about the local wildlife, people, and histories as you explore the broken coastlines surrounding Ketchikan, rich with scenery, history, and abundant wildlife.

Seek humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, harbor seals, and sea lions. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, kingfishers, cormorants, and countless migratory birds in the skies. See totem poles, lighthouses, and remote cabins dotting the islands. Occasionally, bears, deer, mink, and other land animals appear on the shoreline.

We will meet you at (or very near to) your ship. When you disembark, you’ll find us holding a sign with your name on it. From there, it’s a short walk to the boat, and then we’re off on your customizable adventure! We will drop you off in the same location. We will communicate specific details about two weeks prior to your tour.
