Experience the magic of a dogsled ride through the snowy landscapes of Svappavaara, 30 min south of Kiruna. Meet the sled dogs and learn about our lifestyle and the dogs along the way.

Arrive at the kennel and get kitted out with warm clothes. Learn how to sit safely on the sled. Once everyone is ready, sit with 4 people on a sled driven by the guide.

Cover beautiful, varied scenery, including forests, open spaces, a creek, and a lake. All trails are hand-groomed and the area that the trails are made on are mostly hand selected.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Your guide will introduce the team of dogs to you. If you want to learn more about the dogs and the area, feel free to ask any questions to the guides.

Halfway through, stop to warm up by the fire with a cup of tea or coffee and a cinnamon roll. Take the opportunity to cuddle with the dogs, take photographs, and ask questions to the guides.

Once back at the kennel, return the warm clothes and say your goodbyes to the dogs before heading back to Kiruna/Icehotel.

Transfer to and from selected meeting points. (camp ripan/tourist information center/icehotel) are included when pick up point is selected accordingly. When you have selected the NO PICK UP option, this means there is no pick up included and it is your own responsibility to get to our kennel. If no other option is available other than without pick up, this means that the tour with pick up is fully booked and it is your own responsibility to come to the kennel on time.
