We will meet in Kiruna Central Library at Aurora Building. We beging with a new Town Hall (City Hall), an impressive building that has quickly become a symbol of Kiruna’s future. The tour also includes a visit to the Kin Museum (when it is open) and the acual exhibition, which shares stories of the region’s people, culture, and lifestyle. We will also get closer to the newly relocated Kiruna Church, one of Sweden’s largest wooden buildings and a cherished landmark. Originally built in 1912, the church was carefully moved to preserve its historic and cultural value during the city’s relocation. We will visit a part of the commercial city center and the most loved Kiruna shop and several local artists.
The tour will end with a classical Swedish Fika.
