A nice little walking tour through Mainz on the Rhine in the evening. We will see the illuminated alleys, buildings, and squares from the banks of the Rhine to the old town.
PRICE: $17
per person
Discover Mainz in the evening and learn all about its history and anecdotes on a guided tour, then round off your (working) day with a walking tour. From the Romans to modern times. From the banks of the Rhine to the old town. Enjoy the illuminated city at night and follow in the footsteps of Johannes Gutenberg and Napoleon Bonaparte.
We meet on the banks of the Rhine in front of the terrace of the Hilton Hotel and walk along the river for a while. At the Fischtor, we go to Liebfrauenplatz and then to the high cathedral of St. Martin in Mainz. From there, we walk past the old cathedral of St. Johannis to the cherry orchard. This is where the walking tour ends.
