The activity starts at Manzanillo beach where you will meet the captain, board the boat and begin the coastal tour to Punta Mona. But before that you will go in search of dolphins in the open sea in front of Gandoca beach. Two types of dolphins can be found residing in this part such as the bottlenose and the Tucuxi, they are social by nature, the probability of spotting the dolphins is almost 85%.
After sailing in search of dolphins from the boat, you will take a break at Punta Mona beach, this beach can only be accessed by boat or a hike of at least 3 hours. So it will most likely be just your small group of people on a secluded and beautiful beach. From here you can explore the nearby trails, swim in the crystal clear waters or just hang out on the beach sunbathing, the captain will provide you with some seasonal tropical fruits (bananas, pineapple or pipe). After spending at least 1 hour on the beach you will board the boat back to Manzanillo.
